This fact  was ther highlight at Airbnb’s inaugural #WomenInTravel industry dialogue that celebrated the power of Filipino women in late February, a few days before International Women’s Month.

It featured five speakers who discussed how traveling challenged stereotypes and broke boundaries, as more women take action to uplift and empower new generations of Filipinas in the travel and tourism industry.

Jio Platform DEAL: Jio Platforms bags Rs 350 crore deal to run National Informatics Centre’s cloud services

Jio Platforms has bagged a Rs 350-crore contract to manage and enhance the cloud services of the government’s National Informatics Centre (NIC), sources told ET.

The Reliance Industries Group firm has been selected to enhance NIC national cloud services and will be deployed at the National Data Centre in Delhi, Pune and Bhubaneswar. NIC is the government’s technology backbone. Jio’s contract includes five years of onsite maintenance.

“Jio has won the tender and has started working on it,” a source from Jio told ET. “We are starting with managing their cloud services in Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad. NIC Services Inc. (NICSI) had requested proposals from Indian cloud partners for managing NIC cloud solutions under Meghraj 2.0.”

In order to maintain and improve the cloud services provided by the government’s National Informatics Centre (NIC), Jio Platforms has won a contract worth Rs 350 crore, sources informed ET.

The company from the Reliance Industries Group has been chosen to improve the NIC’s national cloud services and will be installed at the National Data Centres in Delhi, Pune, and Bhubaneswar.
