Amphitheater dedicated, hosting first concert Saturday | Local News

Project 2020 was more than 10 years in the making, but the time and effort paid off Wednesday afternoon when the Fountain City Amphitheater at Moore Park in Bryan was officially dedicated.

Project 2020 is a giving circle affiliated with the Bryan Area Foundation, collecting money slowly over the course of around a decade before the funds matured and the amphitheater was constructed.

Its dedication was Wednesday.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced Wednesday (Oct. 14) that the University of Michigan has been selected to host three postseason events — a 2024 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Regionals, the semifinal and final rounds of the 2024 NCAA Field Hockey Championship and the 2025 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championships.

Each event will be held on campus in Ann Arbor with Phyllis Ocker Field Hockey Field hosting the field hockey event and Crisler Center…
