A: Setup is instant, however it may take up to an hour to deploy your Storage Server.

After 4 months of use, I decide to write a review here as a regular user. I had used a handful of VPS providers. Some are cheap with bad quality, and some are costly and underpowered. When it comes to Hyper-V Mart VPS, they are low cost yet high quality which is rare to find. I needed VPS of different cores and RAMs, so Hyper-V Mart offered both in a dynamic way. That is 2.80GHz vCore that basically multiplies on higher packages, and the option to add however many more RAMs in any package. When requiring more RAM, those can be added on for nearly $1 more!

Thus far I had mostly been using the low and mid tier packages: the 2x vCore + 2RAM; and the 4x vCore + 4RAM, with added RAMs. These were suitable for my needs and performed as required. There were no downtimes, or any that I could recall, because sometimes I had to run my program for half days. There were no lagging or choppy resolution issues, but I made sure the VPS specs could handle what I required.

The checkout process is simple, and being able to access the control panel (SolidCP), allowed me to set up the VPS right away without waiting hours for delivery. Once bought, there is an email sent containing instructions on how to start the VPS; that is if chosen the option to set it up manually, which is the default option in the order process. However, there is an optional charge for Hyper V to set it up, but following instructions was easy for me instead. Also there is another option to change the IP for a small fee around $1, but I have not used this.

Contacting support was very convenient with the ticket system incorporated into the login page. The support is also on Skype and telephone, but I only used the ticket system in which was replied within 12 hours.

I currently run several VPS from Hyper V Mart, and will continue for the upgradability, convenience, and power that exceeds the cost of many other VPS providers out there.
