Parler in limbo as it searches for new website host

Parler’s website is unavailable until it finds a new web host. Parler went offline Sunday after Amazon booted the social media site from its platform. Parler CEO John Matze said Sunday that the platform would “get back online as quickly as possible.”  Parler has yet to confirm any talks with specific hosting providers, and a spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. One day after getting booted from Amazon’s computing service, Parler has filed suit against the tech giant, claiming it violated the Sherman Antitrust Act in collaborating with Twitter to “kill Parler’s business—at the very time it is set to skyrocket.” Parler went offline overnight Monday, as Amazon Web Services cut off its access to the computing software following a violent insurrection in the U.S. Capitol.
