Westend61/Getty Images Thanks to a recent update, Apple Music subscribers can now transfer playlists to a YouTube Music profile. This new feature was introduced very quietly, as Apple didn’t make an announcement through its usual avenues. We only learned about the tool after people discovered changes made to one of the company’s support documents. Subscribers will need to meet certain requirements before migrating anything over. First, you’ll need an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription. Users also need an active YouTube Music account. Claims that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has “frozen” a contract for 80 fighter jets from France over the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov are circulating on social media, as part of a fake Al Jazeera video. But there is no evidence to support this claim.  One post on X, viewed more than 366,000 times, is captioned: “The UAE has frozen a contract to purchase 80 fighter jets from France: Durov’s arrest has angered the sheikhs.” It has also been shared on Facebook.  Mr Durov was arrested on landing in Paris on 24 August as part of a cyber crime investigation. Mr Durov is originally from Russia, but now runs Telegram from Dubai in the UAE, where he lives. He holds citizenship of the UAE and France. Tumblr is undergoing a major technical change after revealing it will soon be migrating its backend over to WordPress. An announcement by parent company Automattic confirmed the popular blogging site will continue to operate as Tumblr, rather than be converted into WordPress, noting that only the back end will undergo the transition. “We’re not talking about changing Tumblr,” it stated. “We’re not turning Tumblr into WordPress. That would defeat the purpose.
