British television host Philip Schofield has shared a message to his fans as he returns to his regular on-air role after taking time off around his brother’s sexual abuse conviction. Schofield has been off-air from British breakfast show This Morning since the end of March, when his younger brother, Timothy Schofield, 54 faced charges of sexually abusing a teenaged boy. On April 4, Timothy Schofield was convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, and Philip Schofield has remained off-air since. But on Monday morning (local time), the host returned and began the show talking about his brother’s case.
