Guest speakers include those involved in established projects in other communities
Can a tiny home community work to support the unhoused in Guelph?
Guelph Tiny Homes Coalition will host a webinar through Zoom this Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to discuss the topic.
Among the speakers is Jeff Wilmer, who co-founded A Better Tent City in Kitchener, as well as Debbie Carriere, the executive director with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough, on the Peterborough’s Modular Bridge Housing Community.
There will also be an update on the proposed pilot project in Guelph, which would be 25-50 tiny homes with a shared kitchen, washroom and laundry area.
The goal is to confirm a location and deliver the project by the winter.
Anyone interested in the webinar is encouraged to fill…
