LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The month of October is just around the corner, and TAMIU is registering participants for its highly anticipated Zombie Run.
Clarissa Guerrero from TAMIU shared that extensive planning has been in the works since the summer to bring the event to life. The run will feature a special twist — a mile-and-a-half game of tag where participants wear flag-football-style belts with two flags while evading zombies stationed around campus. Survivors who make it with at least one flag will be declared safe from the apocalypse! Proceeds will benefit the TAMIU community and student engagement efforts.
The Zombie Run is set for Saturday, Oct. 12, 2014. Early registration ends Friday, Sept. 27, at $25 (includes a t-shirt), while day-of registration is $30 (no t-shirt). For more…
