Euclid hosting Bike with Mayor event in collaboration with Bike Cleveland

Jul. 18—Euclid has announced plans for the next session in its Bike with the Mayor series, in collaboration with Bike Cleveland.

Starting at 10 a.m. July 22, riders will explore part of the Cuyahoga Greenways network with Euclid Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail and other Bike Euclid members for a 9-mile ride.

Starting at Euclid City Hall, located at 585 E. 222nd St., riders will then travel down to Imani North via the Neighborhood connector, and then access the newly built Hero Park Train near Route 20.

Heading back north riders will then go east via the Industrial-Corridor where they will pass the Lincoln Electric wind turbine. They will then head toward Euclid’s Neighborhood Connector Trail and travel along a proposed biking path along East 250th Street to Yuko Park.

Pakistan, due to its proximity to Afghanistan and its shared border, became the primary host country for Afghan refugees. The Pakistani government, along with international humanitarian organizations, established refugee camps and provided assistance to accommodate and support the refugees.

Bieksa is returning to Hockey Night in Canada, Canucks fans are jacked

Kevin Bieksa is staying put at Hockey Night in Canada. The 42-year-old former Vancouver Canucks defenceman shared the good news on Twitter, where wild unfounded rumours had been claiming otherwise.

It comes a day after Ron MacLean said that would be returning next season.

“If Ron MacLean is coming back then so am I,” Bieksa said emphatically, to the delight of Canucks fans in particular.
