TREBEK FINALLY REPLACED ON “JEOPARDY”

The decision appears to have been made on a permanent replacement for the late Canadian host Alex Trebek on Jeopardy.

Mayim Bialik is out.

Bialik says Sony told her she will no longer host the syndicated version of “Jeopardy!”  Adding, she is honoured to have been nominated for an Emmy for her work on the show while she shared hosting duties with Ken Jennings.

Sony says former champ Jennings will be the sole host next season to maintain continuity for viewers.

Alex Trebek died in 2020 at the age of 80.

Americans consume junk food for their extra meal each day

On average, American adults eat four times a day, one of which is composed solely of junk food.

The Ohio State University researchers found that consumers nationwide consume up to 500 calories a day from sugary foods that aren’t healthy.

This substantial amount accounts for around 25% of their daily caloric intake and approximately 33% of their daily added sugar intake.

“Until you really look at it, the impact’s magnitude is not fully apparent. Without really being a meal, snacks add a meal’s worth of nutrients to our diets, according to Christopher Taylor, the senior study author and medical dietetics professor at the university’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

“You already know what’s going to be for dinner: a protein and one or two…

After Mayim Bialik Confirmed She Isn’t Returning To Jeopardy, A Lot Of Fans Are Saying The Same Thing

Just over three years after Alex Trebek passed away, Jeopardy! has returned to having just one permanent host. Mayim Bialik skipped the final week of Season 39 to stand in solidarity with the striking writers, and it was announced last week that she will not be returning to Jeopardy! Continuity is the reason Sony gave for making the decision to move forward with Ken Jennings as the sole host of the syndicated episodes, and it looks like a lot of the game show’s fans are having the same response.

Ken Jennings and The Big Bang Theory alum shared hosting duties in Seasons 38 and 39, and while we suspected it might be longer than we thought before Bialik was able to return to the Alex Trebek Stage after the strikes, it turns out she has already seen her final game as a permanent host….
