Mayim Bialik Announces She’s Done Hosting ‘Jeopardy!’

Mayim Bialik will no longer host “Jeopardy!”

The actor and quiz show host announced her departure on Friday in an Instagram post that was designed to look like one of the show’s iconic game board screens.

In her statement, Bialik seemed to suggest that her exit came as a surprise.

“As the holiday break begins in Hollywood, I have some Jeopardy! news,” she shared. “Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!”

“I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Jeopardy! family,” her statement said.

Trevor Noah to host Grammy Awards for fourth year in a row

The Grammy Awards are bringing Trevor Noah back as host in 2024.

Noah shared the news on his podcast What Now? With Trevor Noah.

The 66th Grammys will mark his fourth consecutive year of hosting duties.

SZA heads into the 2024 ceremony with a leading nine nominations.

Kill Bill, her revenge anthem cloaked in an R&B ballad, earned her nods for record of the year, song of the year, and best R&B performance.

Phoebe Bridgers has the second-most nominations, with seven.

A video falsely purporting to show a large car driving at pro-Palestinian protesters in California has been circulating on social media.

Posts on Facebook and what is now X (formerly Twitter) share a clip of a red vehicle towing a large trailer driving through a crowd of protestors.

One caption with the video shared on Facebook on 14 December states: “A truck cuts through a crowd of Palestinian protesters blocking a freeway in Los Angeles.”

A protest did take place in Los Angeles, California on 13 December, where people blocked a freeway and called for a ceasefire in Gaza. But the video being shared is unrelated to that event or the current Israel-Gaza conflict.
