Latest Apple Watch Reported to Have Battery Draining Issues

Apple Watch users are facing a problem with their batteries draining too fast. This started after the latest software update, watchOS 10.1, which came out in October.

People with Apple Watch Series 9 and older models are not happy. They say their watch battery dies quickly after the update. On Reddit, a Series 9 owner said, “After the 10.1 update my battery only last like 2-3 hours at full charge.” Another person shared, “Mine charges to 100% and then dies within 2 hours.” A Series 8 user also had the same problem.

Video of fireworks accident is not linked to the Israel-Gaza conflict

A video on social media is being falsely shared with the claim it shows a firework exploding in the hands of a pro-Hamas protestor at a rally in Turkey . 

The footage shows a firework being held up in the air after its fuses have been lit. It explodes and falls to the ground where it continues to discharge rockets, causing panic among the crowd.   

Many versions of the clip, which has been shared multiple times on Facebook carry the caption: “Pro-Hamas Turkish protester holds the fireworks the wrong way…”. An alternative version is captioned: “Turkey… Pro Palestinian protesters not the sharpest knives in the drawer.”

Turmeric honey isn’t the “most powerful” antibiotic

Claims on Facebook and Instagram, which have been very widely shared, describe a mixture of honey and turmeric (with or without garlic) as “The Most Powerful” or “Most Potent” antibiotic. This is misleading.

After Full Fact contacted a number of accounts who had shared the claims, several posts were deleted. One of the now deleted posts was from Instagram account Best Folk Medicine, which has over a million followers on Facebook where it has posted the claim several times. Some other images posted with the claim are watermarked as being from this account. A post was also deleted from account yoursecretremedies, which has 89,000 followers but another with the same claim remains.

How NTT’s India business got upended with a new show stopper

Japan’s NTT Group, one of the top tier providers of technology and business solutions globally with revenues topping $108 billion, has been going through its motions in India.
