‘Dancing With the Stars’ Will Host a Taylor Swift Night – Rolling Stone

Dancing with the Stars is entering its Midnights era.

DWTS‘ pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd told Billboard Wednesday that the show will be hosting an episode dedicated to Taylor Swift.

“We will be having a Taylor Swift week here,” Murgatroyd told the outlet. “Am I allowed to say that?” he added. It’s unclear though when the Swift-themed episode will take place.

Murgatroyd is currently competing alongside Brady Bunch actor Barry Williams on the dance competition show. Other competitors on the series include Real Housewives‘ Mauricio Umansky, Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawsui, actress Xochitl Gomez, and singer Jason Mraz.

Jamie Lynn Spears was eliminated this week after comedian Matt Walsh went home first the week prior.

I’ve been in nearly all of those positions – from starting with a reseller account to HostGator, to leasing servers from Softlayer [before they were IBM], to owning and colocating our own hardware and network in a facility.

What I can say is that the only time I ever had issues making promises about the quality of the service and the support – was when we were on a reseller plan. That’s why we actually moved from a reseller to our own leased servers.

Sure – we did not own the hardware itself – but we went with a facility that was…

Covid vaccine project using fragments of HIV was cancelled in 2020

A Facebook video uploaded on 19 September shows an interview about a potential Australian Covid-19 vaccine that was created using “a tiny fragment of HIV”. The clip has been shared now without the context that this vaccine was never rolled out and the project was stopped in late 2020.

The video is originally from a BBC Horizon documentary from June 2021. Similar clips of the show were shared on social media in February 2022, as we wrote about at the time.

Bad information about vaccines can lead to harm if people make decisions based on it. We have written about vaccine misinformation many times, including claims about Covid and other vaccines and HIV/AIDS.

Morocco, Spain, and Portugal have been awarded the honour to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, marking Morocco’s sixth attempt to secure the coveted hosting rights.

The decision, which comes a month after a devastating earthquake in Morocco, is expected to uplift the spirits of the nation.

In a surprise move, FIFA also announced that Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay will host matches as part of the centenary celebration of the World Cup’s inception in Uruguay in 1930.

The decision to join forces with Spain and Portugal highlights the growing trend of collaborative hosting in international sports, emphasising unity among…

Spain to host World Cup 2030: What other countries will host matches?

World Cup soccer is set to take place in Spain for the first time since 1982, it has been decided at a virtual meeting of the FIFA Council. However, they will not be going it alone, with soccer’s biggest international tournament to be played on more than one continent for the first time in its history in 2030.

For anyone who has been following the bidding process, that will perhaps not come as a huge surprise given Morocco joined the initial bid put forward by Iberian neighbours Spain and Portugal. What few of us saw coming, however, was that some matches would be played in…South America.

How many World Cups have been held in more than one country?

Traditionally, the World Cup has always been held in one country, which was the case for the first 16 editions up until 2002, when Japan…
