Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart match in style for equestrian event at Paris Olympics – NBC Los Angeles

Martha Stewart and her “darling” Snoop Dogg reunited at the Paris Olympics, proving once again why they are friendship goals.

The longtime friends, who go together like peanut butter and THC, teamed up for coverage of the Olympic dressage competition on Aug. 3. They wore matching horseback riding attire, including show coats and helmets.

Before their shared hosting gig, Stewart was asked to rate Snoop’s Olympic fashion, which has been as much of a viral sensation in Paris as his one-of-a-kind analysis and nonstop cheering at seemingly every event involving Team USA.

Intel — The chip stock sank 17%. Intel said it would suspend its dividend in the fiscal fourth quarter, and it announced plans to lay off 15% of its workforce. The news coincided with worse-than-expected quarterly results. Intel also shared disappointing guidance for the current quarter.

Amazon — Shares of the e-commerce giant dropped 5% in extended trading. The company reported weaker-than-expected revenue for the second quarter and issued a disappointing forecast for the third quarter. Revenue in its cloud division increased 19% in the second quarter, beating analysts’ estimates, however.

Los Angeles Mission hosting virtual back-to-school supplies drive

LOS ANGELES – A local nonprofit is hosting an online back-to-school drive for kids facing homelessness.

Los Angeles Mission, the nonprofit working to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, shared a link for families looking to help the unhoused students ahead of the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Premios Juventud 2024 has revealed its first round of performers set to take the stage on July 25. Confirmed artists include Camila, Darell, DJ Adoni, Emilia, Los Ángeles Azules, Luar La L, Lunay, Prince Royce, Wisin and Yovngchimi.

The awards show will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, under the theme Atrévete a Más. The event will air live on Univision and ViX, starting at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

Los Angeles School Board investigating possible major data theft

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has said it is investigating a possible data breach after a hacker revealed data for sale on a dark web forum.

LAUSD is the second-largest public school district in the United States, counting more than half a million students for the 2023-2024 school year. Furthermore, it has almost 50,000 employees, including almost 26,000 teachers.
