Ryan Tubridy remained silent as news emerged that Oliver Callan would be taking over his former Radio One slot on RTÉ.
The ex-Late Late Show presenter escaped to Cornwall for a “quiet” weekend away since moving to London.
But the Virgin Radio presenter remained silent when approached for comment by us regarding RTE’s latest hiring.
Instead, he spent the weekend updating his fans on his UK travels.
The 50-year-old got the train to Penzance and had a few pints in the 17th century pub, Admiral Benbow.
He then enjoyed some sightseeing at the Minack Theatre which is a world famous open-air venue, carved into the granite cliff that overlooks Porthcurno Bay.
