India To Host Men’s Asia Cup In 2025 In T20 Format: Report

Asia Cup 2025: India will be hosting the next edition of Men’s Asia Cup which is scheduled to be played in 2025 and will be played in T20 format.

According to the Invitation for Expressions of Interest for the sponsorship rights document issued by the Asian Cricket Council, a total of 13 matches will be played in the tournament that will feature six teams.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan will participate in the marquee event and a sixth team will be picked through a qualifying event.

The tournament will be played in a 50-over format in Bangladesh in 2027.

Notably, the last T20I format-based Asia Cup was played in 2022 which was won by Sri Lanka in UAE.
