Event runs from July 9 to 12 with 156 golfers from all across B.C. competing
The 122nd edition of the British Columbia Amateur Golf Championship opens today (July 9) at Abbotsford’s Ledgeview Golf Course.
A practice round occurred yesterday (July 8) and the four-day competition will see competitors play 72-holes, with the field being cut to the top-70 after day two. Rounds go today, tomorrow (July 10), Thursday (July 11) and Friday (July 12).
The event sees 156 golfers from all across B.C. teeing off.
The 2023 champion was Vernon’s Cooper Humphreys and he is back to defend his crown in 2024. He shot a -14 (274) over the four-day event last year in Parksville. Delta golfers Jace Minni and John Morrow, who placed second and third respectively last year, are…
