Baku State University hosts event dedicated to National Leader Heydar Aliyev [PHOTOS]

The next meeting of the “National Leader: Heydar Aliyev
Lectures” project was held with the support of the Youth Fund, Baku
State University (BSU), and the “BSU Volunteers” organization.

According to the information shared by the university, the guest
of the project this time was Professor Anar Iskandarov, Head of the
Department of Source Studies, Historiography and Methodology of the
Faculty of History of BSU.

Baku hosts concert dedicated to 127th anniversary of Bulbul [PHOTOS]

A concert dedicated to the 127th anniversary of the birth of the
founder of Azerbaijani professional vocal art and one of the
founders of the national musical theatre, People’s Artist Murtuza
Mammadov (Bulbul), has been held in Baku, Azernews
reports.

The event was organised by Bulbul Memorial House-Museum as well
as Bulbul Vocal School, founded by Honoured Artist Ramil
Gasimov.

The museum director, Fargana Jabbarova, spoke about Bulbul’s

Russian House in Baku hosts concert dedicated to Great Patriotic War [PHOTOS]

Russian House in Baku has hosted a concert dedicated to the 83rd
anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War,
Azernews reports.

The event was co-organised by the Baku Music Academy and the
Russian House in Baku.

At the opening, Bishop Alexy of Baku and Azerbaijan addressed
the assembled public with a welcoming speech.

The presenter and curator of the event, Doctor of Philosophy in

Baku hosts concert dedicated to founder of Russian classical music [PHOTOS]

The Russian House in Baku has hosted a festive concert timed to
the 220th anniversary of the founder of Russian classical music
Mikhail Glinka, Azernews reports.

The event was co-organized by Baku Music Academy and the Russian
House in Baku.

Head of the Russian House in Baku Irek Zinnurov, the presenter
and curator of the event, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History,

Baku to host exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijani cuisine

KamART Art Gallery will host art exhibition “Azerbaijani
National Cuisine” by young artists on May 20-21,
Azernews reports.

The exposition to be presented at Shah Palace Hotel reflects the
diversity of Azerbaijani cuisine: these are meat dishes and
pastries, dolma, kebabs, dairy dishes and flour products, snacks,
pickles and sweets, syrups and preserves – interesting and colorful
compositions reflecting the cuisine of different regions.

Along with food, the paintings show the interior of the house,
household items, dishes, carpets, and tablecloths located
there.

Also in the paintings you can see tandir, oven, saj and barbecue
used in preparing Azerbaijani cuisine.
