A video is being shared on social media with the claim that it shows a beach in Iran that has “turned” red due to “severe weather”.

In the clip, water which appears to be bright red is pouring across red ground and running off the edge of a small cliff which leads to what seems to be the edge of the sea.

The caption says: “Severe weather turned the beach red in Hormuz Iran… it’s Passover season.”

The footage has also been shared on Facebook with similar claims.

However, these claims are misleading. In fact, the video shows a naturally occurring phenomenon—and the colour of the beach itself is not caused by “severe weather”.

One man’s trash is a toddler’s treasure, and Andy Cohen’s 4-year-old son Ben just hit the goldmine at a beach. The Bravo TV host shared a new video from vacation with his son, featuring Ben’s hilarious idea for his beloved collection of trash.

“You saved all these bottle caps…that you found on the beach?” Cohen asks his son in the video on Instagram. He’s filming the sand, which is covered in bottle caps. You can see Ben’s hands in the video, as he picks up the caps.

National Disability Employee Awareness Month is in October — and Long Beach plans to honor that by hosting its first job fair for people with disabilities.

The city has partnered with the Disabled Resources Center, Mental Health America of Los Angeles, the California Department of Rehabilitation and Pacific Gateway Network to put on the job fair, which will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Civic Center Plaza and City Hall Lobby.

Long Beach is home to nearly 50,000 residents with disabilities, according to the city’s press release. A third of those people are unemployed and continue to face barriers of preconceived notions obstructing many employment opportunities, the city said. The  job fair will be an opportunity for people with disabilities to meet with local employers…

​The Historic Kempsville Citizen Advisory Committee (HK-CAC) and the City of Virginia Beach will be hosting a dedication ceremony for Patriots Park on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. The brief event will include remarks from City officials and an overview of Kempsville’s history by Dr. Stephen Mansfield. Three interpretive signs about Historic Kempsville will be unveiled during the event. A light refreshment will be provided after the event by Circa 1734, a bakery located in the nearby historic Carraway House. The public is welcome to attend.
