Abbotsford author Grace Fox hosting book signing on Sept. 20

Abbotsford author Grace Fox has announced a book signing celebrating the release of her latest – Names of God: Living Unafraid.

The event occurs at House of James bookstore (2743 Emerson St.) on from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

Fox has now penned 14 books and stated that she wants to invite the community to join her for a special evening filled with stories, live music, book signing and refreshments.

“Names of God: Living Unafraid is a devotional study that examines seven of God’s Hebrew names and how they relate to our lives today,” she said in a press release. “God has shown us what he’s like through these names. In a world that’s scary, understanding who he is helps us live unafraid.”

North St. Louis non-profit to hold back-to-school free book event

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A non-profit organization serving north St. Louis is hosting a back-to-school event featuring a free book giveaway this Saturday.

Red Circle, which is dedicated to fighting for racial equity in north St. Louis, is hosting its fourth annual Back2School with Books on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The vent will be at the North County Community Nexus located at 9300 Lewis and Clark Blvd. in Ferguson, Mo.

Kids who attend the event will select a free book from EyeSeeMe African American Children’s Bookstore. The online bookstore specializes in promoting positive images and stories about African American culture and history.

Things to do: Summer Sizzle Used Book Sale July 20 at San Tan Valley Library

‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Actors Discuss Diana and Dru Running for Their Lives

As we approach the mid-season finale of Power Book II: Ghost, anyone can — and will — get dropped at any time. In the last episode, the Tejada family dinner turned into a brawl, leaving Diana and Dru to flee without a to-go plate.
