In an Instagram story, Martin shared a photo showing her efforts to become her old self again as she recovers from the deadly disease.

Martin returned to lifting light weights as she shared a photo from the gym. The 47-year-old NBC host returned to ‘Today’ following her announcement about her breast cancer diagnosis.

She has also been updating her fans and ‘Today’ hosts about her health and hosting her regular shopping segments since her return.

Renowned journalist Diego Guauque has become a true inspiration and role model for those facing the difficult battle against cancer.

For several months, Diego openly shared his fight against sarcoma on his social networks, undergoing surgeries and treatments to combat the disease.

Despite the unbearable pain, Guaque remained firm and through faith and family union, announced that he had finally overcome cancer.

After several days of the good news, in a recent interview with Semana, the journalist revealed that the sarcoma did not completely leave his body without leaving sequelae. The disease affected one of his kidneys.

ANN ARBOR, MI – A training center used by firefighters across Washtenaw County is being named after a veteran Ann Arbor firefighter who was key in making it possible.

The Ann Arbor Fire Department is hosting a dedication ceremony Friday, May 7, at the W.R. Wheeler Service Center naming the countywide fire training center the “Craig Sidelinger Fire Training Center” in honor of the training captain who died of cancer earlier this year.

“Craig was instrumental in getting this training center going and it has been valued and used by departments throughout the county,” Ann Arbor Fire Chief Mike Kennedy said.
