Parler Subpoenas Twitter In Suspension Case Against Amazon

By Khorri Atkinson (February 23, 2022, 4:25 PM EST) — Conservative microblogging platform Parler said Wednesday that it has subpoenaed Twitter for documents concerning its alleged collusion with Amazon Web Services Inc., which led to the suspension of Parler’s web hosting account last year following the deadly U.S. Capitol riot.

The company said in a statement that the subpoena issued by a Washington state court as part of Parler’s breach of contract and defamation lawsuit against AWS demands a wide range of documents to challenge the “continuing abuse of power and anti-competitive conduct of Big Tech companies, harming individuals and businesses who don’t conform to their viewpoints.”
