Former Jeopardy Champ Weighs In On Ken Jennings As A Host, And Points Out The One Thing He Has That Alex Trebek Didn’t

Longtime Jeopardy! fans are being treated to an embarrassment of riches with the Invitational Tournament that’s currently airing in syndication. Some of our favorite contestants of the current and past eras are returning to Sony Pictures Studios to face off against one another for the opportunity to advance to Jeopardy! Masters, and for some of them, that means they’re competing for the first time without Alex Trebek as the host. One returning champion, Celeste DiNucci, shared her opinion about how Ken Jennings is doing, and she pointed out one thing the GOAT has that his predecessor didn’t.

Jeopardy champ criticizes Wheel of Fortune hiring Seacrest

Whatever your feelings about Ryan Seacrest taking the “Wheel” from Pat Sajak, at least it’s been a relatively quick, decisive process.

Jeopardy champion James Holzhauer took to Twitter on Tuesday to comment on Seacrest being named the new “Wheel of Fortune” host — and mock the long, winding road “Jeopardy!” went on to find a replacement for the late Alex Trebek.

(Trebek died in late 2020 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.)

As Jeopardy Fans Celebrate Ken Jennings’ Early Return As Host, A Recent Champ Defended Mayim Bialik Against Haters

Following the conclusion of the Jeopardy! Masters tournament, fans of the classic game show have only traditional episodes to look forward to for the foreseeable future, with the next Tournament of Champions likely not happening until the fall. And soon, viewers will see G.O.A.T Ken Jennings return to the lectern a bit earlier than planned, with Mayim Bialik having stepped back from hosting duties due to the WGA writers strike.
