Video of President Putin ‘ignoring’ King Charles doesn’t tell the whole story

A video of Vladimir Putin appears to show the Russian president ignoring King Charles at an event. 

The clip, which has been widely shared on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), shows President Putin walking into what appears to be an auditorium and shaking hands with French president Emmanuel Macron, while ignoring or failing to notice King Charles beside him. 

But this short clip, which has been edited to emphasise the moment President Macron appears shocked at President Putin apparently ignoring the King, doesn’t tell the full story. 

In the full clip, taken at a meeting of the World Holocaust Forum, President Putin goes back to shake King Charles’ hand after appearing to miss the fact he was sitting beside President Macron.

Michael Block has shared his views about the new Colonial Golf Course hosting the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge. The tournament is scheduled to be held from May 23 to 26 at the recently renovated Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Colonial Country Club was renovated on a budget of $20 million. Gilbert Hanse, the course designer, and Jim Wagner, his business partner, oversaw the project. The PGA Tour website states that the renovation of the scale intended usually takes 18 months, but Hanse and his team were tasked with completing the job before the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Longtime “CBS Sunday Morning” host Charles Osgood dies at age 91

CBS News journalist Charles Osgood, the host of “CBS Sunday Morning” for more than two decades, died Tuesday at 91 years old. According to CBS News, Osgood was living with dementia for a period of time before his death.

Osgood spent 45 years at CBS News before retiring in 2016. During his tenure at “Sunday Morning”, the show reached some of its highest ratings levels in three decades, and earned the Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Morning Program on three different occasions. His tenure on “Sunday Morning” was in fact longer than the show’s original host, Charles Kuralt. Photo shared on social media doesn’t show King Charles with Dunblane gunman

Claims that a photo shows King Charles, serial abuser Jimmy Savile and the Dunblane massacre shooter are going viral online. A video featuring the image has over 50,000 views on TikTok and has also been shared on Twitter and Facebook.

The picture is a genuine photo taken by a PA photographer in July 1999 of the now-King and Jimmy Savile during a visit to a mountain rescue centre in Glencoe, Scotland. But the third man pictured is Iain Thornber, one of the deputy Lord lieutenants for Inverness, not the Dunblane shooter. 

Lord lieutenants arrange visits by members of the royal family amongst other roles, and are supported by their vice and deputies, of which Mr Thornber was one. Footage and images of the same visit from other sources also show the three men at Glencoe…
