Club to host ‘Dave Day’ concert dedicated to life of Dave Myers

Barrow Raiders are proud to be hosting a concert to celebrate the life of Dave Myers on ‘Dave Day’, Saturday 8 June. 

A bike ride has been arranged, with thousands of bikes starting in London, picking up en-route and heading to Barrow to help celebrate the life of Dave, a beloved TV personality and one half of the Hairy Bikers.

The club were approached by the organisers and Dave’s family to host the concert, and we have put together some fantastic acts, with a mainly local theme.

The bikes are expected to reach the town centre at around 4pm, with lots of celebratory events planned by the Town Hall until 7pm. Our concert will have doors open at 2pm, with music until 11pm.

Kiotee Club hosting benefit for Texoma boy with brain cancer

DENISON, Texas (KXII) – Kiotee Club is usually a nightlife hotspot, but this Saturday, the bar will turn into a kid friendly venue to help a special little boy.

“He just wants to have fun, wants to play baseball, wants to run around and be a kid. he doesn’t want to be, you know, labeled as the kid with cancer,” Levi Murphy’s mother, Lauren Murphy said.

Levi Murphy was nine years old when he was diagnosed with a form of brain and spine cancer called Medulloblastoma.

“He went through two six hour brain surgeries, 30 rounds of proton radiation in seven months of chemotherapy,” Murphy shared.

But eventually, Levi beat cancer… at least, for awhile.

It’s set to pay homage to Barry Keoghan’s lavish birthday in the movie.

Saltburn is coming to Dublin outside of our TV or cinema screens. 

A Dublin nightclub is hosting a Saltburn-themed night for club revellers. 

It takes place in the Academy on Middle Abbey Street on Friday (19th). 

Organisers say they’ll ‘recreate that iconic party’ which was thrown for Barry Keoghan’s character, Oliver.
