Dermot O’Leary shares tribute after a week of co-hosting This Morning amid Philip Schofield scandal

Dermot O’Leary has shared a gushing tribute and said co-hosting an entire week of This Morning was a ‘privilege’  amid the ongoing Phillip Schofield scandal.

The host, 50, who has been fronting the show alongside Alison Hammond, 48, took to Instagram with a slew of snaps from his busy stint in front of the camera.

I turned down co-hosting ‘The View’ with Barbara Walters

Suzanne Somers claims she was offered — and declined — a co-hosting gig alongside “The View” creator Barbara Walters.

“I was originally asked to be on the original ‘View’ with Barbara Walters and whoever else, and I turned it down,” the actress, 76, shared during Wednesday’s episode of the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast.

“And everyone said, ‘Why would you turn that down? It is a national show,’” Somers recalled.

“I said, ‘First of all, I have to live in New York. I don’t really wanna live in New York. I like the weather down here, and I like the vibe down here,’” she explained.

“But secondly, I don’t do well vying for time. And there, you gotta interrupt and butt in and butt out. It’s…

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Reportedly Find Criticism About Their Co-Hosting Vibes ‘Irritating’

KELLY RIPA AND Mark Consuelos are co-hosting LIVE now that Ryan Seacrest has stepped away from the show, and they’ve gotten some backlash from people who simply don’t vibe with their on-screen banter.

The couples’ first show was described as “painful” by some viewers, several of whom dramatically took to Twitter to announce that they were “changing the channel” and wouldn’t continue watching.

So, how do Ripa and Consuelos feel about the backlash? They reportedly find trolls coming for their loved-up dynamic “irritating,” but they’re ultimately unbothered and have no plans to change anything just because of a few critics.

“Kelly’s been through this before—with every new co-host!” a production source tells Page Six. “If it wasn’t Mark—say it was Andy Cohen—it would be the…

Mark Consuelos Finally Addressed His Now Infamous Co-Hosting Debut With Kelly Ripa

Mark Consuelos has only been on the job at Live with Kelly and Mark for four days, but even he admits things haven’t been perfect. The 52-year-old actor revealed his thoughts on his new job and the criticism he and his wife, Kelly Ripa, have received on social media.

Consuelos totally understands that there have been moments where the show goes “off the rails,” but it only leaves room for improvement because there’s another show the next day. “I can’t do tomorrow’s show now, I can’t do yesterday’s show over again,” he explained on Wednesday on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham. “If it’s great, great. If it’s not so great, we’ll try better next time. And that’s been my approach. Just kind of be in the moment.”
