Baku hosts int’l scientific conference dedicated to Academician Zarifa Aliyeva [PHOTOS]

An International Scientific and Practical Conference has been
held in Baku. Co-organized by the Ministry of Health, the National
Center of Ophthalmology and Azerbaijan Society of Ophthalmologists
of Azerbaijan, the event was timed to the 101st anniversary of the
birth of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, Azernews

Turkmenistan is preparing to host an international conference dedicated to Magtymguly

Turkmenistan is preparing to host the International Scientific Conference «The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi» on the 18th of May this year, which will be dedicated as part of the events marking the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen philosopher and classical poet. Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Education and Health N. Amannepesov spoke about this at a government meeting via video link.

Regional District of Nanaimo agrees to co-host 2025 AVICC conference

The Regional District of Nanaimo has agreed to co-host the Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities annual general meeting and convention in 2025.

After successfully co-hosting in the conference with the City of Nanaimo in 2023, the AVICC has requested the RDN and the City of Nanaimo stage the event next year in April and to continue hosting it every two years after 2025.

The RDN board received the AVICC invitation at its regular meeting on March 26 and discussed the event.
