I have not had any clients report that being an issue. If it was an issue certain clients could manually apply different vendors to their accounts.

I don’t know any clients who have more than 100 addon domains. The most I’ve seen is around 50 and that was in the past.

I don’t recommend using too many addon domains because they are not isolated from one another or protected by CageFS/CloudLinux like separate cPanel accounts are. If hosting too many addon domains and one of them is compromised/hacked it can leak through to all other domains hosted on the…
