In a December 2023 interview with Elite Daily, Paige and Craig talked about wanting to work together in the future. They even pitched an idea for a morning talk show, hinting that they’d be ready and willing to replace a certain married morning show couple should they ever decide to vacate their jobs.

On Wednesday, September 20 ‘Today’ broadcast, host Willie Geist shared glimpses of his upcoming interview with Seacrest as he discussed it with co-hosts Melvin, Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Carson Daly.

It was confirmed back in June on the official Instagram page of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ that Seacrest will replace the longtime gameshow host Pat Sajak after the 76-year-old announced his retirement.
