If Chris Evans hated one thing about his role as Captain America, it was the time he spent making public appearances for the promotions. Evans shared that his anxiety made him a less-than-ideal candidate for such appearances. He mostly avoided appearing in shows where he had to perform in front of an audience, which meant he was one of the few MCU lead stars not to host an SNL episode.

His co-star Scarlett Johansson has found herself in the SNL Five-Timers Club, hosting the show for a total of six times. However, he has company among the OG Avengers as Mark Ruffalo also turned down a hosting gig because he was scared.

A video being shared widely online falsely claims to show the new King of Denmark waving a Palestinian flag in support of a demonstration in Copenhagen.

In the clip, which is circulating on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), a man on a balcony can be seen holding the Palestinian flag and waving, while pro-Palestine protesters gather in the street.    

A caption on Facebook also widely shared alongside the video says: “The King of Denmark, King Frederik X, waves the Palestinian flag from a balcony as he greets hundreds of protesters demonstrating in Copenhagen in solidarity with the people of Palestine.”

However, the man pictured in the footage is not the Danish monarch, and the video was actually filmed in Malmö, Sweden.

Some of our favorite contestants of the current and past eras are returning to Sony Pictures Studios to face off against one another for the opportunity to advance to Jeopardy! Buddy Games debuted in the 2023 TV schedule as CBS’ newest competition series, but the show hosted by Josh Duhamel definitely isn’t a redo of Survivor or Big Brother. This show pits six teams of close friends against each other in challenges that range from physically daunting to downright bonkers in pursuit of the $200,000 prize. Duhamel, who has played “buddy games” with his own friends across decades, spoke with CinemaBlend about trying out the obstacles that the competitors face, including his bold belly flop into a mud pit and the aftermath. 

A video shared more than 15,000 times on Facebook claims to contain the contents of a speech criticising “satanic plans” to depopulate the planet, supposedly delivered by Russian president Vladimir Putin. 

The video, which has also been viewed thousands of times on TikTok, doesn’t show Mr Putin talking, but rather the audio of an unidentified person reading what is claimed to be a transcript of his speech, as part of a conversation with another unidentified person. 

In this speech, Mr Putin is alleged to address “the countries of the world” and supposedly accuses them of wanting to “deliberately reduce the world’s population by sacrificing innocent lives” and having “satanic plans to reduce the population of the planet”.
