A video being shared online claims to show a cyclist catching Akshata Murty, Rishi Sunak’s wife, using Instagram while driving. But the woman in the video is not Ms Murty.

In the footage, a cyclist asks a driver whether she’d been using Instagram and she appears to nod in response. The cyclist says he will send the footage to the police and adds: “Don’t use your phone alright”.

Video does not show bulldozer driving over injured at Gaza hospital

Warning: links in this article contain potentially upsetting footage.

A video being shared on social media claims to show an Israeli-operated bulldozer running into civilians outside a hospital in Gaza.

The clip comes from Egypt in August 2013, when it was posted by the Al Jazeera Arabic channel. It shows a bulldozer being used in the dispersal of protesters who had gathered in support of ousted President Mohamed Morsi.

A video falsely purporting to show a large car driving at pro-Palestinian protesters in California has been circulating on social media.

Posts on Facebook and what is now X (formerly Twitter) share a clip of a red vehicle towing a large trailer driving through a crowd of protestors.

One caption with the video shared on Facebook on 14 December states: “A truck cuts through a crowd of Palestinian protesters blocking a freeway in Los Angeles.”

A protest did take place in Los Angeles, California on 13 December, where people blocked a freeway and called for a ceasefire in Gaza. But the video being shared is unrelated to that event or the current Israel-Gaza conflict.

It was filmed in May 2020 during…
