Workers Are Saving Less Due to Inflation and Recession Fears – MSN

High inflation and recession concerns have U.S. workers cutting back on how much money they’re saving.

That’s according to a new report from Morgan Stanley, which found that younger workers are scaling back their contributions to savings and retirement accounts the most, but that significant shares of older generations are reducing contributions, too.

Overall, 66% of surveyed employees say they lowered contributions to savings due to inflation and/or recession worries compared to 62% last year, according to the report. Contributions to 401(k)s are getting hit especially hard.

Noel Ferrer, the talent manager of Kapuso host Kim Atienza, seemingly confirmed that the latter was tapped to host the new “Eat Bulaga” program, but had to decline the offer due to prior commitments with another Kapuso program, “Tiktoclock.”

Ferrer made the revelation on his Instagram account on Monday, June 5, as he shared screenshots of Inquirer Bandera’s article and a speculation by GMA-7 fan account Kapuso Forever that was posted on Facebook.

Jeopardy Host Mayim Bialik Drops Out of Show Due to Writers’ Strike

Jeopardy! is getting a major change as a result of the ongoing Writers’ Guild of America strike. On Thursday, reports revealed that Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik has walked away from hosting the final week of episodes for Season 39, in order to stand in solidarity with the writers’ strike. Ken Jennings, who also hosts episodes of the iconic game show, will reportedly step in to host Bialik’s episodes, which will be filmed between Tuesday, May 16th and Friday, May 19th.
