‘A whole lotta love’ – All-Star Hurler of the Year gets engaged!

ALL-STAR Limerick hurler Diarmaid Byrnes has popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Elaine Kennedy.

The happy couple announced their good news over the weekend via Instagram with the words ‘A whole lotta love’ and a romantic photo where they are pictured looking extremely happy on Inchydoney beach in West Cork with their Labrador puppy, Sonny.  

Over 300 people so far have offered their congratulations to the pair on their news.

 TG4 presenter Louise Cantillon who is to marry Limerick hurling captain Declan Hannon next month commented under the post saying “Aaah!!! Gorgeous news. Comhghairdea libh x” 

Influencer Sinead O’Brien, from the same parish as Byrnes, Patrickswell, said “Awh amazing guys xxx”.

Popular Irish model and broadcaster gets engaged at Clare beauty spot

WELL WISHES and comments of congratulations are still flooding in, as an Irish model and social media personality gets engaged.

Rozanna ‘Roz’ Purcell, 32, got engaged on the Cliffs of Moher in Clare on Thursday, August 10, to her long-term boyfriend, Zach Desmond. 

The Tipperary native and RTÉ radio broadcaster announced the news to her 558k Instagram followers, posting a trio of pictures with her fianceé. Irish stars including Ua Healy, Deirdre O’Kane and Greg O’Shea congratulated the pair.

Zach is the son of MCD Productions managing director, Denis Desmond and Irish sensation Hozier’s manager, Caroline Downey.

‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast host Alex Cooper’s engaged! Here’s what she shared about the proposal

Congratulations are in order for Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan.

The “Call Her Daddy” podcast host confirmed that she and her Hollywood producer boyfriend are engaged.

Cooper confirmed their engagement in an interview with W Magazine published on April 23. The star podcaster revealed that Kaplan proposed on March 3 at their shared home in Los Angeles.

The proposal came as a surprise to Cooper, who thought they were doing a photo shoot for the magazine.

“I remember the shoot feeling like it had no direction, and I could tell everyone was stalling. Grant Student Council Dedicated to Helping Community, Keeping Peers Engaged

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The Grant Student Council, which is comprised of 30 student representatives from fifth and sixth grade, has been busy since the start of the 2020-2021 school year planning and running virtual events and organizing community initiatives to keep students involved and engaged. 

Student council reps are selected by class vote in the fall with one from each homeroom charged with relaying important information on events and activities back to classmates. Members meet with advisors Megan Basile (sixth grade math) and Alyson Oller (fifth grade ELA/social studies) twice a month and, since the start of the year, have been working together to brainstorm ideas for school wide activities, themed spirit days, and more.
