Recently, Disney and Make-A-Wish celebrated making their 150,000th wish together. Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together for forty years in making wishes come true for children facing critical illnesses, and the 150,000th granted wish served as a major milestone. Drag queen book event in New York City now has competition: Libs of TikTok creator will host one for families

Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik has decided to host an alternative book event to one that’s reportedly occurring this weekend in New York City.

Writing on Twitter, Raichik shared with followers, “NY AG Letitia James is hosting a drag story hour for kids this Sunday.”

So, added Raichik, “I decided to host my own story hour down the street from hers! Protect your kids and come hear an important message at an event that’s actually family friendly.

The Foundry hosting stress relief and fun for displaced families – News 40

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local preschool has opened their doors to kids in the community for free fun, food and hair braiding to help destress following the tornadoes.

Tragedy can spark a lot of stress for both adults and children.

So, The Foundry in Bowling Green is hosting a stress relief event Mondays through Thursdays until school starts back.

Aaliyah Davis, a teacher at the Foundry, has been having a blast with the kids.

Morgan County Partnership for Children & Families plans to host a ‘bear-y’ special day – The Fort Morgan Times

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, the Morgan County Partnership for Children & Families will be hosting a day dedicated to highlighting the importance of quality childcare. Morgan County’s 20 licensed childcare home providers and nine licensed childcare centers will participate in this county-wide campaign.

When parents or guardians drop their child or children off at childcare Tuesday morning, they will receive a sticker that says, “I’m at work today because my child is in quality childcare.”

Childcare providers will be wearing the color brown and will also read the beloved classic book, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by author Bill Martin, Jr. and illustrator Eric Carle.
