CHS Field will host Vikings celebrity softball game on May 31

Though longtime Vikings receiver Adam Thielen is no longer with the team, the show must go on, and longtime safety Harrison Smith is carrying the torch.

After a successful inaugural event last year, the Thielen Foundation Charity Softball Game will be back at CHS Field on May 31.

It will be a showdown between members of the Vikings offense and members of the Vikings defense. Here’s a look at the rosters:

Cal State San Bernardino baseball team hosting Division II regional at Fiscalini Field – San Bernardino Sun

The Cal State San Bernardino baseball team’s record-breaking season rolls on with another first this weekend when the Coyotes host one of two NCAA Division II West Regional tournaments.

Beginning Thursday at Fiscalini Field in San Bernardino, CSUSB will welcome Azusa Pacific and Western Oregon in for a three-team tournament. The winner advances to the NCAA Division II Super Regionals next weekend.

“It’s a huge opportunity for us and it’s something the school hasn’t done in, I don’t think, forever,” Coyotes head coach Mike Nadeau said.

The Coyotes (38-17 overall) set a program record to wins this season, were both chosen as a tournament participant and Fiscalini Field selected as regional host site for the first time, it was announced on Sunday.

Field Hockey Hosts Monmouth in Pride Game on Sunday

NEW YORK – After traveling to Providence, R.I. on Saturday for an Ivy League clash with Brown, the Lions face a quick turnaround, hosting Monmouth University in a nonconference bout on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The meeting with the Hawks is the Pride Game for Columbia, celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month.
