Frank Fritz, the ‘Bearded Charmer’ from American Pickers, dies 2 years after stroke

Frank Fritz, the beloved co-host of the History Channel’s hit show American Pickers, died at 60. His longtime friend and co-host, Mike Wolfe, shared the sad news on social media. In an emotional post on Instagram, Wolfe said,

“It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night.”

He went on to describe Frank as a dreamer with a kind and sensitive personality, someone who was just as funny and caring off-camera as he was on the show. Having known him for more than half his life, Wolfe shared how much Frank meant to him.

Frank Fritz, the longtime “American Pickers” host, has died at 60 years old. The news was announced on social media by his friend and co-host Mike Wolfe. The duo appeared together on the History Channel staple for 10 years and hundreds of episodes. The series followed Fritz and Wolfe as they toured the country in search of antiques and artifacts they can sell in their shop or buy to add to their personal collections. Frank Fritz Dead 'American Pickers' Star Was 60 – Deadline

Frank Fritz, the longtime co-host of History Channel’s American Pickers reality series, died Monday, September 30, his co-host Mike Wolfe shared Tuesday on Instagram. A cause of death was not revealed.

“It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,” he wrote.

He continued, “I’ve [known] Frank for more then half my life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny. The same off camera as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.”

Wolfe added, “Who would have ever dreamed we would share the cockpit of a white cargo van in front of millions of people interested in our adventures.
