‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat Sajack to leave game show

California (ABC News) —Pat Sajak’s time as the host of “Wheel of Fortune” is coming to an end.

In a tweet he shared on Monday, the game show host, 76, said the upcoming 41st season will be his last.

“Well, the time has come,” Sajak said. “I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all.”

“Wheel of Fortune” also shared Sajak’s note on Instagram and captioned, “Thank you, Pat!”

Sajak has been the host of the game show since 1981. His co-host, Vanna White, 66, who operates the board and reveals letters as they are guessed by contestants on the game show, has been on “Wheel of Fortune” since 1982. The…

The Game to be delisted at the end of 2023

Friday the 13th: The Game delisted

The team behind Friday the 13th: The Game announced today that the game will be delisted at the end of 2023. Since the license is expiring, it’ll be pulled on December 31, 2023. This applies to both the physical and digital versions.

Gun Media promises that Friday the 13th: The Game will “continue to function through at least December 31, 2024.” In other words, those who already own the game can continue playing for another year. Also, the base game is seeing a price reduction to $5 while all DLC will be $1.

The full statement reads:

The time has come. Our license for Friday the 13th will expire on December 31, 2023. On that date, Friday the 13th: The Game will no longer be available for sale, both physically and digitally.

Jack Nicklaus is hosting this week’s Memorial Tournament 2023 at the Muirfield Village Golf Club. Ahead of the event, the PGA Tour legend has come out to slam LIV Golf and its players. Nicklaus took a jibe at the Saudi-backed series’ players by stating that “all the top players in the world” were at the Memorial this week.

Dubbing this week’s Memorial Tournament ‘probably as good a field as he’s ever had,’ Jack Nicklaus said that the field wasn’t missing top players from LIV including PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka.
