For some reason, Respawn Entertainment has become a bit infamous among gamers for rampant server issues across all its titles. DDoS attacks and hackers have plagued Titanfall 1 and Titanfall 2. And Respawn’s battle royale shooter Apex Legends is no stranger to crashing servers, either. Apex players have struggled with unplayable servers at the start of new seasons as well as suffered from DDoS attacks in high-ranked games.

As TF1 and TF2 players begged Respawn for help, some maliciously chose to attack Apex out of spite. Others began troubleshooting TF2’s server problems — and one “Northstar” mod appears to offer a solution to the game’s persistent pain points in the form of custom, player-hosted servers.

EB Games Canada has confirmed that it will have more Xbox Series X and S units available for purchase on Thursday, January 21st at 11am ET.

Specifically, this restock will be for Xbox All Access, Microsoft’s Xbox console financing program that’s exclusive to EB Games in Canada.

Through All Access, you can get a Series X or S for $0 upfront, with payments being spread out across a 24-month period instead. Monthly pricing starts at $39.99 CAD/month for the Series X and $29.99/month for the Series S.

Financing is provided by RBC and has a 0 percent APR for 24 months. In addition to an Xbox console, All Access includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This gives you access to Game Pass on Xbox, Android and PC, as well as Xbox Live Gold and the EA Play subscription service.

Nov. 3 was a disappointing day for me and it had nothing to do with the election.

On the morning of Nov. 3, Gun Media announced that “Friday the 13th: The Game” was going to receive its final patch later this month, and with it the game’s dedicated servers would be shut off.

“We fought to keep dedicated servers for as long as possible, but I think we all felt this day was coming. Doesn’t make it any easier, though,” tweeted Wes Kelter, the head of Gun Media.

While the game does have some fun single-player modes, “Friday the 13th: The Game” is primarily a multiplayer-focused game where one person plays as the killer from the horror movie franchise Jason Voorhees and up to seven other people play as camp…
