Woodside Golf Course hosting 8th GAM 14 & Under Match Play Championship – Daily Tribune

EAST LANSING – Woodside Golf Course is one of a handful of 12-hole golf courses in the country designed to appeal to those who seek a course that takes less time to play, those beginning the game and those who seek a less physically demanding experience.

The Hawk Hollow golf property, a sister course to the popular Eagle Eye, Hawk Hollow and Timber Ridge courses in the area, has proven to be the perfect spot for the boys and girls who will play in the 8th GAM 14 & Under Match Play Championship presented by Absopure Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 7 and 8.

Abbotsford’s Ledgeview Golf Club hosting B.C. Amateur Championship

Event runs from July 9 to 12 with 156 golfers from all across B.C. competing

The 122nd edition of the British Columbia Amateur Golf Championship opens today (July 9) at Abbotsford’s Ledgeview Golf Course.

A practice round occurred yesterday (July 8) and the four-day competition will see competitors play 72-holes, with the field being cut to the top-70 after day two. Rounds go today, tomorrow (July 10), Thursday (July 11) and Friday (July 12).

The event sees 156 golfers from all across B.C. teeing off.

Michael Block has shared his views about the new Colonial Golf Course hosting the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge. The tournament is scheduled to be held from May 23 to 26 at the recently renovated Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Colonial Country Club was renovated on a budget of $20 million. Gilbert Hanse, the course designer, and Jim Wagner, his business partner, oversaw the project. The PGA Tour website states that the renovation of the scale intended usually takes 18 months, but Hanse and his team were tasked with completing the job before the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge.
