T-Mobile denies it was hacked, despite hacker claiming to have leaked company data

Popular data leaker IntelBroker is selling a database allegedly belonging to the telecommunications giant T-Mobile, but the company has denied this is the case.

In a new post published on a dark web forum, IntelBroker said they were selling “Source code, SQL files, Images, Terraform data, t-mobile.com certifications, Siloprograms.”

Okta denies it was hacked again after data appears on hacking site

A hacker has shared a new database on an underground forum, claiming it contained data stolen from Okta – however the company begs to differ.

In late October 2023, cybercriminals broke into Okta systems and stole client session cookies, potentially giving them access to those companies’ networks, and opening the doors to malware and ransomware attacks. Subsequent investigation showed that all of Okta’s customers were affected.

In a multi-year intrusion, Web hosting platform GoDaddy has revealed that cyber-criminals gained access to its systems, installed malware on its network and stolen parts of its source code.

In order to further investigate the issue, the company said that it is working with multiple law enforcement agencies around the world, in addition to forensics experts.

The company said in a statement that “We have evidence, and law enforcement has confirmed, that this incident was carried out by a sophisticated and organised group targeting hosting services like GoDaddy”.

Over 16,500 Sites Hacked to Distribute Malware via Web Redirect Service

A new traffic direction system (TDS) called Parrot has been spotted leveraging tens of thousands of compromised websites to launch further malicious campaigns.

“The TDS has infected various web servers hosting more than 16,500 websites, ranging from adult content sites, personal websites, university sites, and local government sites,” Avast researchers Pavel Novák and Jan Rubín said in a report published last week.

Traffic direction systems are used by threat actors to determine whether or not a target is of interest and should be redirected to a malicious domain under their control and act as a gateway to compromise their systems with malware.

Web Hosting Company Hacked by Extortionists – Bestgamingpro

Several websites have been disrupted by a cyberattack on Israeli web hosting firm Cyberserve, with attackers stealing sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) about its customers, some of whom are not aligned with the views of the conservative country.

The BlackShadow hacking group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

In the days leading up to the assault, the National Cyber Directorate had warned CyberServe on several occasions, according to The Times of Israel.

BlackShadow is also apparently demanding money from hosting providers’ clients in addition to CyberServe.
