Jimmy Fallon says he’s ‘happy to be back’ as ‘Tonight Show’ host avoids questions on ‘toxic’ work environment

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jimmy Fallon was in town for the Broadway opening of ‘Gutenberg! The Musical!’

The ‘Tonight Show’ host shared that he was all excited to be back at the helm after a long gap due to writer’s strike.

“I miss interviewing everyone so much, I was just interviewing my wife for the last five months and she got bored of me so she’s so happy I’m out of the house,” Fallon told PageSix.

“The show is back, we’re back to telling monologue jokes, back to making people feel happy, I’m so thankful and happy to be back,” he said.

‘Price Is Right’ Host, ‘Happy Gilmore’ Actor Was 99 – The Hollywood Reporter

Bob Barker, the energetic game show legend who for more than 50 years made every day entertaining as host of Truth or Consequences and The Price Is Right, has died. He was 99. 

Barker, who also was celebrated for his animal-rights activism and for one hilarious brawl with Adam Sandler in the 1996 golf comedy Happy Gilmore, died Saturday morning of natural causes in his longtime Hollywood Hills home, his representative, Roger Neal, told The Hollywood Reporter.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us,” Neal said in a statement.

Straka in Detroit with a happy ending, Schwab back

Sepp Straka made up some ground in the final round of the PGA golf tournament in Detroit, while Matthias Schwab had a miserable performance at the end. While Straka recorded a conciliatory round of 71 on Sunday after an initially strong start and finished 64th, the Styrian stayed six over par with a 78. Schwab shared 83rd place at the end of the classification.

Victory in Detroit went to American Rickie Fowler in the jump-off. Fowler prevailed against his US compatriot Collin Morikawa and Canadian Adam Hadwin. The trio was 24 under par after four rounds.
