Indian-origin NYC health advisor admits hosting drug-fuelled sex parties when city faced pandemic

An Indian-origin former New York City senior health advisor was fired from his job at SIGA Technologies after he was caught on camera confessing about participating in drug-fuelled sex parties during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr Jay Varma, who was responsible for coordinating the response of the city to the pandemic, was removed from his position as executive vice president and chief medical officer at SIGA Technologies.

After his termination, Dr Varma’s hidden camera footage was shared by podcaster Steven Crowder.

In the video, Dr Varma was seen boasting about taking part in underground raves and hosting sex parties as the city remained in severe lockdowns.

Apple Is Trying to Save Your Hearing Health From Its Own Product

Along with unveiling new products on Monday including the iPhone 16 lineup and the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple shared a big update for its earbuds: AirPods Pro 2 are getting a new hearing aid mode. While this could help people with difficulty hearing, it could also fix a problem AirPods and other headphones can contribute to in the first place: hearing loss.

According to the American Osteopathic Association, about one in five teens will experience hearing loss in their life, and some experts think it’s because of headphones and earphones.

“Avoiding excessive use of listening devices altogether will go a long way in preventing hearing loss,” James E. Foy, an osteopathic pediatrician, told the AOA. “Whether using headphones or earphones, moderation is key.”

Famed TV Host Shares Major Health Update After Breaking His Neck In Near-Fatal Accident

Famed TV host Nev Schulman is making a remarkable recovery after breaking his neck in a near-fatal biking accident. The Catfish host shared a major health update.

Schulman is up on his feet and walking around. He shared a video of himself strolling through a street with a neck cast.

“It’s been two weeks since I broke my neck and had emergency spine surgery. And I thought I’d get on here [and] just give you all a quick little update” he said.

“As you can see, I’m up and about. Finishing a little neighborhood stroll,” he said, “which was recommended to me by my physical therapist to keep my body moving.”
