KI Sawyer Heritage Air Museum hosted a dedication of a new memorial

GWINN, Mich. (WLUC) – The K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum hosted a dedication of a new memorial.

The memorial is dedicated to all those that served honorably and returned.

The dedication included speakers from both the American Legion and VFW. Following the speeches, each service flag was raised by a former or current member of that service. The Space Force flag was raised by two Civil Air Patrol Cadets.

Richard Verwey, K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum president, said it was time to honor all those who served.

Bratsigovo Hosts International Architectural Forum Dedicated to Immovable Cultural and Historical Heritage

For the third year in a row, the town of Bratsigovo, Southern
Bulgaria, will host the international architectural forum dedicated
to immovable cultural and historical heritage, titled “Bratsigovo –
The Stone Flow of Time,” Azernews reports, citing BTA.

It begins on June 26, and will continue until July 2. From this
year, the event is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
Architect Desislava Dimitrova is the main organizer of the
forum.

The forum will begin with an exhibition of the Thracian treasure
from the village of Ravnogor, which will be presented in the
Regional History Museum in Pazardzhik. This is the only day in the
current year when the priceless archaeological find can be seen.

Heritage Alliance hosting Summer Supper series | Sunday Stories

The Heritage Alliance is serving up a new dining experience in Jonesborough this summer.

The Summer Supper series is a monthly offering taking place from now through September and featuring a fine meal served on various historic lawns throughout the area. All suppers will start at 6 p.m., and tickets for each supper are limited to 26 guests. Tickets can be purchased through the Town of Jonesborough’s ticketing website at Jonesborough.com/tickets.

The first Summer Supper was held May 22 at February Hill.

Other dates and locations include June 12 on Spring Street, July 24 at the Warner Institute, Aug. 14 at the Historic Embree Farm in Telford, and Sept. 18 at a home on East Main Street.
