Triston Casas co-hosting Home Run Derby is the content Red Sox fans need

The Boston Red Sox had three players chosen to represent the team at this year’s All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas.

Rafael Devers has elected to skip the festivities to rest his lingering shoulder injury, but Boston has still sent three others to Globe Life Field for the Midsummer Classic. Triston Casas will join Jarren Duran and Tanner Houck, but not on the field.

The first baseman will flex his skills on the mic at the Home Run Derby on July 15. He’s been chosen to co-host ESPN and MLB’s coverage of the event on TikTok and will appear on MLB Network’s media day show earlier in the afternoon.

Lahore, Rawalpindi among three venues PCB proposes for 2025 Champions Trophy at home

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has proposed three venues – Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi, in the initial draft shared with the ICC for hosting the 2025 Champions Trophy. The tournament, scheduled for the mid-February-March window next year, will see the return of an ICC tournament to Pakistan after a gap of nearly 30 years.

The Men in Green are defending champions, having last won against arch-rivals India in 2017. Although the ICC had then decided to scrap this tournament, they brought it back in 2022, including it in the new rights cycle (2023-27), with Pakistan getting the hosting rights.

Alison Hammond caused a distraction among fans as she gave a fresh glimpse into her new home. The This Morning presenter has been excitedly sharing a look at her dream abode after taking time off hosting duties on the show to move.

Alison, who still lives in her home city of Birmingham, confirmed on March 1 that she’d hosted her last edition of the ITV daytime show, in which she co-hosted alongside Paddy McGuinness, for the rest of the month as she was taking a break from her usual Friday slot on the popular programme which she hosts alongside Dermot O’Leary.

‘Hosting has brought a very special family into our home’: Stroud stands with Ukraine

When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, the world looked on in horror. Fiona and Heidi were no different, and they both decided to do something to help innocent people displaced by the conflict.

Community group Stroud Stands with Ukraine (SSWU) knows first-hand how painful a reminder the second anniversary is for people who have had to leave behind a beloved country, family, friends, homes and jobs.

“Hosting has brought a very special family into our home and we have made lifelong friends. We have shared our cultures and customs with each other and eaten many meals together,” revealed host Fiona.  

“Of course it is difficult for both parties, but by taking a risk, you can gain loyal friends for life,” said Irina, who is hosted by Fiona.
