A few weeks ago, Marcela Tinayre announced that she will be the new host of the program controversy in the bar. However, this Saturday she shared the news on her social networks and her closest colleagues and friends congratulated her.

After more than half a century on the air, América TV will relaunch the program and put a woman in the lead for the first time. The cafeteria at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School in London may have looked bare Friday morning — but by night it’s set to be bursting with lanterns, decorations and an array of delicious foods and desserts.

That’s because a group of Muslim students at the high school have rallied together to host an iftar celebration, a meal shared when Muslims break daytime fast in the evening, to bring the community together during Ramadan. 

But the event is about more than sweets and festivities — it’s also a way to share their culture and fundraise money for relief efforts in February’s earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

RYLAN Clark has dramatically quit Strictly: It Takes Two after four years and shared an emotional goodbye with fans.
