I’m a big fan of the Samsung SSD’s as well, after having extensively used the Intel entry level SSD’s (5xx series) for specific clients around a decade ago, and having experienced a perpetually worsening failure rates as model #’s climbed. We pivoted to the Samsung 860 Pro’s at the time, and had very positive experiences.

That said, I’d be very careful about using the current generation of Samsung EVO’s: We have a customer who deploys considerable numbers of these drives, and has done so for awhile.
