Mayim Bialik Will Not Host Season 2 of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” as She Supports WGA and SAG-AFTRA Strikes

ABC has announced that Mayim Bialik will not be hosting Season 2 of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” as she continues to support the ongoing strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The news comes after ABC issued a press release on Monday, revealing that Ken Jennings will be taking over as the host for the new season, which premieres on September 27th at 8 p.m. ET.

Ken Jennings to take over ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’ as Mayim Bialik steps down from hosting duties amid WGA strike

CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: Production decisions for ‘Jeopardy!’ have been consistently affected by the strikes going around in Hollywood.

From having no returning contestants and striking writers, the game show has had to compromise in a lot of aspects.
