There are conversations online stirring that TikTok wants to expand its offerings to beyond its video content. It has been reported that TikTok is in the works of launching TikTok Notes, a new platform for photo sharing. This would then place them in direct competition with long time photo sharing leaders, Instagram.

This is not a new trend in the social media and tech spaces, though. Last year, Instagram extended its medium to compete with long time text social media platform, now known as X. Their Threads app also caused a big stir, and throughout last year had its ups and downs. What will be the case for TikTok’s app?

A video being shared online claims to show a cyclist catching Akshata Murty, Rishi Sunak’s wife, using Instagram while driving. But the woman in the video is not Ms Murty. 

In the footage, a cyclist asks a driver whether she’d been using Instagram and she appears to nod in response. The cyclist says he will send the footage to the police and adds: “Don’t use your phone alright”. 

The clip has been shared with the caption: “Rishi Sunak wife caught using mobile phone scanning Instagram whilst driving [sic]” and has more than 500 shares on Facebook. Comments on the post indicate many users believe the video does show Ms Murty, including: “Bloody rules for the masses. Whilst the elite do as they like,” and “She don’t care about nothing just like her…

As Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made their way to Kunal Kapoor’s house for their annual Christmas brunch, the duo finally showed their daughter Raha’s entire face after months of anticipation. As photographers took pictures, the power couple proudly posed with their little daughter.

While the shutter bugs were taking her picture, Raha gazed them curiously. She wore wine-colored shoes to add even more sweetness to her lovely Christmas-themed outfit.

Alia was by Ranbir’s side as he held his 13-month-old daughter in his arms.
