Interim Enterprise CIO John Ellis to retire from Emory
After more than 20 years of service to Emory, John Ellis plans to retire at the end of the calendar year. Ellis has served as interim enterprise chief information officer (CIO) and senior vice provost for information technology since March 2023. Prior to these roles, Ellis was deputy CIO and held multiple leadership positions at Emory.
Ellis’s retirement was announced Aug. 15 in a joint message from Christopher L. Augostini, executive vice president for business and administration, enterprise chief financial officer, and vice chair of the Emory Healthcare Board of Directors; Ravi V.
