Ariana Madix has landed another big gig. The “Dancing With the Stars”  season 32 finalist will replace Sarah Hyland as the host for the summer-long reality show, “Love Island USA,”  according to TMZ.

Hyland was the host of the Peacock reality show for two seasons, but on March 28, 2024, she confirmed on her Instagram story, “It is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer. I have committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA.”

The Vanderpump Rules star’s projects since Scandoval keep tallying up, as Peacock has officially announced her as the new host of the U.S. version of the hit reality show. 

Madix’s stint will begin with the upcoming season 6, which airs exclusively on the streaming platform this summer. The announcement comes a day after Sarah Hyland shared in an Instagram story that she “will not be returning to the island this summer,” as she is currently “committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA.”

A Puna nonprofit dedicated to helping men stay clean and sober through community service and mālama ‘āina (caring for the land) will hold its first Makahiki Cultural Festival in January, an event celebrating Hawaiian culture, community resilience and holistic wellness.

The event, hosted by the Men of Pa‘a (firm, solid, immovable), will take place during the Makahiki season, an ancient Hawaiian New Year festival that honors Lono, the Hawaiian god of fertility.
